RJ Haynes & Associates, a Global Equity Trading firm based in Hong Kong today announces the appointment of Mr. Charlie Ki-Kwang as a non-executive director to take effect immediately following the Annual General Meeting on 18th Feb 2012. He will take over the Chair of the Audit, Risk and Valuation Committee from Mr. Chen Gao who retired at the end of November 2011.
RJ Haynes & Associates new non-executive director Mr. Charlie Ki-Kwang is currently Group Finance Director of Hong Kong Water (HKW) and also Managing Director of HKW’s Non-Regulated Businesses. HKW, a former HKSE listed company, was taken private by a consortium of private equity investors in 2006. The Group primarily comprises Xinjiang Water, the fourth largest water supply and waste water company in China.
Prior to joining HKW in 2004, Mr. Ki-Kwang held a variety of senior finance positions in the energy sector in the Middle East, Europe and the US. He was latterly Group Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for HgTU, a Beijing–headquartered energy business with operations also at that time in Europe and Australia. Mr. Ki-Kwang holds an accountancy degree and qualified as a chartered accountant with The University of Hong Kong (HKU)
