BOSTON – New England Patriots’ safety Patrick Chung will make a personal appearance at the thirty-eighth annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels (http://www.autorama.com) custom car show and motorsports exposition.

The custom car show and motorsports exposition comes to Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center from Friday, Mar. 30, through Sunday, Apr. 1. Chung will be at the show on Sunday, Apr. 1, 1-3 p.m. Spectators will be able to meet him, take photos with him and have their Patriots’ memorabilia autographed.

The New England Patriots (http://www.patriots.com) drafted Chung in the second round of the 2009 draft, and he signed with the team July 27, 2009. On Oct. 18 that year against the Tennessee Titans, Chung made his first career interception. He also totaled eight tackles, four of which were solo. Chung became a full-time Patriots starting safety in 2010. During the first game of the season, he set a career high with 16 tackles against the Cincinnati Bengals. In the second half of the Oct. 4 Monday Night Football game against the Miami Dolphins, Chung blocked both a punt and a field goal, which led to two Patriots touchdowns. He later returned an interception 51 yards for a touchdown. Chung added a 13-tackle game in an overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens, but was soon sidelined with a knee injury. After missing the next two games, Chung returned to record 11 tackles in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chung started 13 of 14 games he played in 2010. He finished with 96 tackles and three interceptions and defended against nine passes.

For nearly four decades, the Town Fair Tire World of Wheels each year has treated spectators to displays of hundreds of America’s finest one-of-a-kind vehicles, as well as feature cars, celebrity appearances and special attractions. Local exhibitors display custom vehicles of all types, representing millions of dollars worth of hot rods, customs, street rods, collectibles, race cars, antiques, restorations, tuners and more. Spectators also have the chance to meet and get free autographs from celebrities, like Chung, see specialty vehicles and cover cars and be entertained by many other attractions for the whole family.
