Morehead City, NC — Steve Hellersperk, P.E., at ACS Computer Services, Inc., in Morehead City was honored by the Crystal Coast Toastmasters for his achievements in the fields of communication and leadership. The event was held on Tuesday February 7, at 5:30 PM at the Bryant Student Center on the campus of Carteret Community College, Morehead City.
“Never under estimate the importance of good communication skills. Toastmasters can make it happen,” says Hellersperk.
Steve Hellersperk was presented the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Award by Sam Rollings, Vice President of Membership of Crystal Coast Toastmasters. The Distinguished Toastmaster is award that recognized the pinnacle of achievement in Toastmasters. Less than 0.3% of all Toastmasters members reach the DTM level.
“After four years, a blistering rate, Steve drove through the prerequisites in both communication and leadership tracks, including:
• Competent Communicator
• Advanced Communicator Bronze
• Advanced Communicator Silver
• Advanced Communicator Gold
• Competent Leader
• Advanced Leader Bronze
• Advanced Leader Silver
He was the sponsor of a new Toastmasters club and held district office. He is a member of the Morehead City Toastmasters and a charter member of the Crystal Coast Toastmasters” says Kathy Durand, President of Crystal Coast Toastmasters.
