Evangelist David Brady to Speak at Northampton Assembly of God Revival Services March 4-7

Evangelist David Brady of Ligonier, PA will be the guest speaker for revival services beginning Sunday, March 4 and continuing through Wednesday, March 7 at Northampton Assembly of God, 3449 Cherryville Rd, Northampton, PA.  Services will be held at 10:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.  

David Brady grew up in a dysfunctional and alcoholic home.  By the age of 15 he was on the streets using drugs and alcohol, but nothing satisfied!  One night, he was drinking with his friends in the woods.  He recalls, “The more that I drank, the more empty I felt.  I began smashing beer bottles against the trees yelling ‘There has to be more to life than this!’” As he returned home, he heard the Sunday morning bells of a church compelling him to come.  There, at the age of 18, he heard the message of salvation and came to Christ.  The Lord set him free from drugs and alcohol and called him into the ministry.  For the past 31 years, he has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping free others from the bondage of sin and destructive habits.

Concerning the ministry of David Brady who has conducted a number of previous revival meetings at Northampton Assembly of God, Pastor Daniel E. Lundmark states, “Evangelist Brady has been wonderfully used of the Lord to challenge people to earnestly seek the Lord for His promised blessings.  He effectively communicates the Gospel through a lively and often humorous preaching style as he paces the platform and proclaims the truths of God’s Word relating to man’s need of salvation from sin, healing, deliverance from evil habits, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost.”

These revival services will also feature uplifting congregational singing, joyful worship, and life-changing times of prayer around the altar.
