The nonprofit, Connections to Success announces the election of three new members to its board of directors. They join an esteemed group of innovators that include Sandy Schneider, the Managing Supervisor, Compensation & Performance HR- Total Rewards at Ameren; Kathy McElligott, Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Emerson; Lauren Herring, President and CEO of the global career management firm, Impact Group and a host of other accomplished leaders. The organization is excited to enhance its capabilities by creating a more diversified board with community leaders from different business areas.
The new board members are;
Max Mitts – Vice president and business banking officer at PNC Bank. As a business banker, Max provides cash flow recommendations to Business Owners with average sales of $1 million to $10 million. Prior to working for PNC, Max worked for Deutsche Bank and GE Capital. He holds an MBA from Lindenwood University.
Heidi Sowatsky – Heidi is an award-winning interior decorator and owner of the St. Louis region franchise of Decorating Den. Heidi not only creates amazing rooms, but also provides career opportunities to others who have a passion for decorating. Previously, Heidi was a general partner, area leader and financial analyst at Edward Jones. She holds an MBA from Duke University.
Cillah Hall – Owner of Xanadu Public Relations and editor-in-chief of St. Charles based StreetScape Magazine. Prior to founding Xanadu in 2009, Cillah was a morning news producer at KSDK-Channel 5, where she produced newscasts for “Today in St. Louis” with Art Holliday and Jennifer Blome. Cillah graduated with a Communications degree from UM-St. Louis.
