Molina will serve as a key member of the SafeNet executive team with primary responsibility for directing the company’s worldwide legal affairs and providing advice on the company’s legal and strategic business issues. He will also serve as secretary to the company’s Board of Directors and its various committees. The search was led by Julie Bonasso and Deborah Thompson, Managing Directors in MLA’s Philadelphia office.

Prior to accepting the position with SafeNet, Molina was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, and Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer, for L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc., a company that designs, develops, manufactures and sells technology for human identification purposes. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary for Identix Incorporated, a leading provider of multi-modal biometric technologies. He has also served as Senior Counsel of Harris Corporation, and worked as an attorney in private firms domestically and abroad, including Shearman and Sterling in New York City, where he began his career. Molina holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from Wesleyan University. He is a member of the New York, California, and Minnesota Bars.
