Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos’ meeting with coalition partners ended early Thursday reportedly without agreement on a tough austerity and reform package.

Papademos’ talks with coalition partners aimed at securing a new 130 billion euro ($170 billion) international bailout program to avoid a default in March but hinges on Greek authorities making cuts to wages and benefits.

Reportedly the only issue the Greek leaders could not reach agreement on was pension cuts.

The prime minister’s office released a statement saying talks would resume Thursday to try to conclude an agreement before euro zone finance minister start a meeting Thursday evening.

After the coalition leaders’ meeting ended Papademos went into another meeting with representatives from the European Union and International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank.
